BioTerry’s primary goal with her work is to connect with the viewer by capturing light and color to create mystery or an evocative tone in a painting.
Over the years, Terry has been developing and refining this goal as a calligrapher and painter, who trained first as an art major in college and later with accomplished artists in the fields of watercolor, oil painting and calligraphy. She is a member of the Washington Calligraphers Guild and has also been an instructor in the art of calligraphy at Piedmont Virginia Community College as well as privately.
Terry’s exhibits have included the University of Virginia Medical Center, the Martha Jefferson Outpatient Care Center, Skylight Studios, and other venues. She has exhibited for the Festival of the Book and joined a collaboration of other women artists for a show at the McGuffey Art Center. Terry invites your inquiries (email) and your viewing of her work on this site. See Current Exhibits on this site menu for the latest show and find her on Facebook.
